Will you help us Rebuild the Dream on Saturday?

This weekend the Mid-South Peace and Justice Center is partnering with Change Nation and Move-On.org to host a meeting this Saturday at 3pm that will launch Rebuild the Dream. This new nationwide effort is dedicated to creating an economy that works for ALL of us — and to stopping attacks on workers and people in poverty.

Please join us Saturday at 3pm in our offices at 1000 S. Cooper St. (map)

Our shared path to the American Dream begins with a conversation among  friends and neighbors at hundreds of American Dream house meetings on July 16 and 17. We believe these simple house meetings will be the beginning of a  progression that will drive the American Dream movement forward and change the nation.

Will you join us to share your story, express your hope, and craft a plan to work together to fix our broken economy?

Where is the change that our movement has been promised by our leaders? In Memphis, like most places in this country, the state of our economy and its effects on jobs and housing is only getting worse. In our office we are almost constantly meeting with people that are suffering and whose situation will only get worse as state and federal cuts find their way into our low income communities.

Please come to this important meeting so that the voices in Memphis will be heard as we build our movement.
