#CLERB ALERT: Over the past week, we’ve shared the stories of individuals in the #CLERBbacklog, REAL people who where referred to CLERB by MPD Internal Affairs between 2011-2013, when CLERB DID NOT EXIST!

If There Is No #Struggle, There Is No Progress.
The fight for CLERB has been a long one. Every step of the way, moneyed interests and the politically powerful have bent over backward to delay or stall efforts toward the most modest police accountability. We have continued to push because we know that this isn’t about politics, this is about PEOPLE.

#Power concedes nothing without a demand.
On Tuesday, August 9th, we are asking that you stand with us once again as we challenge the City Council do the right thing for Memphis, vote the will of the people, and support a CLERB with real teeth, a CLERB with a subpoena process.
Join us at City Hall, Aug 9, 3:30PM, and in the meantime, go to memphisunited.org, to contact ALL of your City Council reps NOW!
