Collaboration: Art as a Vehicle for Social Action
Collaboration: Art as a Vehicle for Social Action is a participatory workshop that will give each participant hands on experience in forming, working, and implementing an art based action. The primary goal is to learn the process of working within a collaborative, empower people by respecting all voices and roles within a collective, and by being part of a larger like-minded group. Second to that is to use “art” as a way to garner attention to your message, get your message across to a larger audience, and to rally people to your message. The training culminates in the group taking collaborative action using the processes taught in the course.
