Empowerment for Women

We will also address the relationship between interpersonal and institutional sexism, and the role of socioeconomic issues in women’s oppression.

Within this framework, topics will be addressed that match participants’ interests, which may include: 

*reclaiming fully our intelligence 
*romantic relationships
*taking complete pride in ourselves 
*reclaiming physical power
*body image and appearance issues 
*interrupting sexism
*leading ‘no limits’ lives—setting up our lives exactly as we want them
*overcoming competition—closeness and building alliances with other women
*addictions to food and other substances

Reclaiming ourselves as women will enable us to lead more fulfilling, less isolated lives, and to love others more fully and deeply, in personal relationships and in efforts to end sexism and all forms of oppression in the world.
