Understand how early hurts in our lives relate to racism, how to be a better ally in ending racism on the personal, institutional and systemic levels, and the role of internalized oppression as it relates to racism.

A long-time grassroots organizer, Laura Sullivan currently works with the Memphis Bus Riders Union, h.o.p.e., and the Vance Avenue Collaborative. Laura has also been teaching and counselling for over twenty years, leading workshops, classes, and support groups for women, men, students, young adults, and people working to change the world. Recent workshops have addressed eliminating racism, healing for activists, empowering women, LGBTQ oppression and liberation, and developing our visions for a better world.
